 17 Saudi companies participate in the Saudi Pavilion at Arab Health 2020

Saudi Export Development Authority, "SAUDI EXPORTS", will participate in the Arab Health Exhibition, "Arab Health" 2020, to be held in Dubai from 2 to 5 Jumada Al-Thani 1440H corresponding to 27 to 30 January 2020. This participation aims to strengthen local industries and open new export channels for Saudi healthcare companies in the regional and international markets, and to complement the role through which "SAUDI EXPORTS" seek to promote the Saudi product and increase market shares of the local product in global markets.

The number of companies participating in the Saudi pavilion organized by "SAUDI EXPORTS" at the Arab Health Exhibition reached 17 national companies specialized in the field of health care. The Saudi pavilion at the exhibition was opened by the Consul General of the Kingdom in the Emirate of Dubai, Mr. Abdul Hadi bin Muhammad Al Shafi. The pavilion was also honored by their visit, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, and His Excellency the CEO of the Food and Drug Authority, Dr. Hisham Al-Jadhi, who were briefed on the pavilion, the participating Saudi companies and various national products. The Arab Health Exhibition and Conference “Arab Health 2020" is a unique opportunity for specialists and those interested in the field of health care to exchange experiences, technologies and developments in the world of contemporary health and medicine, as it is considered the largest exhibition in the health care sector in the Middle East and North Africa. The event is expected to receive visitors and delegates to the conference from more than 160 countries. The exhibition will also witness the return of the "innovation center" after the great success it achieved in its first edition last year, and this year it will display a number of technologies within the concept of "Internet of Things" in the field of health care, including artificial intelligence, augmented reality technology, virtual reality and accessories for mobile devices, smart watches, fitness tracking devices and applications, disease management devices, health monitors, home care tools, telemedicine devices and others.

It should be noted that “SAUDI EXPORTS" is keen to participate in major economic and commercial conferences and events around the world as one of the innovative solutions to promote the quality of the national product, develop human competencies in the field of export and elevate readiness by facilitating the creation of export opportunities and markets appropriate for establishments, as well as facilitating the linking of exporters with buyers and partners This would contribute to increasing the market shares of the local product in the global markets and increasing the proportion of non-oil exports.​
