(Saudi Exports) will participate at the 9th Iraq International Energy Exhibition and Conference (IEE), held in Baghdad from February 12-14, under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, and the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity.
The Saudi authority's participation in IEE aims to create additional opportunities to enable and support Saudi exporters' products and services, facilitating access to regional and international markets in alignment with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This vision aims to diversify the national economy's sources of income. The authority also seeks to elevate the status of Saudi products and services by adhering to the highest standards of reliability and excellence, with the ultimate goal of increasing the percentage of the total non-oil exports of GDP to 50% by 2030.
IEE aspires to strengthen cooperation with investment companies specializing in energy within the Iraqi market. The exhibition serves as a direct gateway to the Iraqi energy market, providing an opportunity to engage with Iraqi officials and decision-makers across various sectors.
Recognized as one of the most promising and targeted export markets, the Saudi Arabian non-oil exports to the Republic of Iraq amounted to SAR 18.17 billion from 2018 to the third quarter of 2023.
