 Saudi Exports Organizes Basic Programme to Help Exporters

The “basic programme to develop exporters”, organized by the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports), started today in Riyadh and will last until March 9; the event is part of the Saudi Exports’ ongoing efforts to boost export capabilities and equip local exporters with the knowledge and skills needed to market their goods in international markets.
The programme sheds lights on several important key themes, including marketing research and data, use of databases, research and reports to analyze target markets, payment procedures in international trade, documentary accreditation course, key items in requesting the issuance or modification of documentary accreditation, in addition to acquainting stakeholders with financing options available from development banks, trade and export guarantee.
Director General of Exporters Development Department at Saudi Exports Yaser Al-Sabali noted that the authority, based on its vision, seeks to be the main driver for the sustainable growth of the Kingdom's non-oil exports through its strategic objectives of developing exporters' capacities and readiness to meet global challenges and improve their competitiveness in targeted international markets, where the authority, to achieve such goals, provides various quality services, and initiatives and training programs that interest owners of national enterprises and exporters, and helps them achieve their export objectives.
